We invite you to present or practice presenting any research or projects you’ve been working on this year at the annual spring research symposium on Friday, April 28, 2017 in the Playa Room from 9 am-2 pm. Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to sign up and online students/members can participate via Skype as well. Consider presenting your work to 1. Gain useful feedback on your projects, 2. Practice presenting your work in a formal setting with an informal atmosphere, 3. Add a line to your resume/CV about guest presenting!
Our student chapter is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) and Technical Communication and Rhetoric Graduate Council (TCRGC) for this year’s symposium.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in presenting and I’ll collaborate with BGSA and TCRGC to add you to the schedule or coordinate Skype contact. Please let me know if you’d like the use of a laptop, projector, etc. If you’re an instructor, we will also have sign-in sheets available for presenters or attendees to receive extra credit if you make that available.
Finally, let us know if you’d be interested in a live stream of the event and we’ll check in with the other organizations and presenters for a procedure to do so in the SUB.
We look forward to hearing what you’ve all been up to this year!
