The STC Summit 2015 in Columbus, OH starts next week. Members who are unable to attend might be interested in participating through the Virtual Track. This live stream of 10 sessions costs $125 for student members. Full details are available below from Pam Estes Brewer, Manager of the STC Academic SIG.
We know money can be tight when you’re a student, and you might not be able to afford to attend the Summit in Columbus like you had hoped. But good news: there’s still a way to get a taste of the Summit without having to pay the full registration fee and incur any travel expenses!
The Virtual Track of the 2015 Summit will take place on Monday, 22 June, and Tuesday, 23 June, and includes 10 carefully selected sessions from a cross-section of the overall Summit education program. During the breaks, you’ll have a chance to hear from STC about the latest news and programs, and discover technology trends from a selection of exhibitors. And to ensure your virtual attendance feels even more like the real thing, each session will have a moderator so you can ask questions and interact with the session as if you were there in person.
One of the best things about this opportunity? The price! The Virtual Track is only $125 for an individual STC student member, so you’llsave over $1,000 versus attending in person. It’s a great deal no matter how you look at it!
We hope to “see” you in the Virtual Track this year!
